The public taxis which traverse the city picking up passengers randomly on the streets have somehow become part of the private sphere of life in Tehran. The anonymity of the passengers who become fellow travelers allows candid exchanges, the like of which are not seen in other public spaces. In this film, the passengers who get in the taxi, are immediately confronted with a camera. Those who choose to stay and become part of this film reveal a new side to their city helping us slice through theexpected vistas of a city frequently filmed and at times falsely familiar, and touch issues at the heart of a complex and fascinating city through their every day concerns voiced within the privacy of a moving opinion box.
